Few ingredients give more play in the kitchen than rice, it is the basis of countless recipes and its versatility is more than demonstrated. With this white rice recipe we can prepare multiple dishes in a very short time.

In addition to doing it with our EASYChef TOUCH 9000 food processor will make the rice is ready and we hold in the fridge for a few days.

Once the rice is done and if we are not going to use it right away, it is important to spread it in a bowl and let it cool before shaping it or transfer it to a container to keep it.

 350 g Round rice
 1 l Water
 30 ml Extra virgin olive oil
 1 Clove of garlic
 1 Bay leaf
 1 Teaspoon of salt

We mount the stirring attachment on our EASYChef robot together with the cooking basket.

Add 1 litre of water, 1 bay leaf, 1 garlic, 30ml of olive oil and a teaspoon of salt.

Heat for 8 minutes at 120ºC and speed 1.

Add 350g of white rice.

Cook for 15 minutes at 120ºC and speed 3.

Check that the rice is well cooked. If it is still a little undercooked, program again for 2 more minutes at the same speed and temperature. Depending on the manufacturer and the variety it may take more or less time to cook.

Careful not to burn ourselves, remove the basket and spread the rice in a dish.

  1. Hello I have made the rice and I have been very rich, I in my case first browned the garlic (if it helps) at 120 degrees, 10 minutes at speed 1 with the stirring accessory so that I was more tasty and then I did the steps as indicated in the recipe. And it was perfect
