Starting with the milk and rice base, we can vary the ingredients to give it our point. If you prefer, you can remove the butter, replace the lemon peel for the orange zest, add other spices such as cardamom, star anise or vanilla.

And if we want our rice pudding to be vegan friendly, we can eliminate the butter and replace the milk with a vegetable drink of our choice.

We mount the whisk accessory on our EASYChef robot.

Add 1.3 liters of milk, 250 g of rice, a stick of cinnamon and a piece of lemon zest.

Bake 40 minutes at 90°C and speed 1.

Add 200 g of sugar and 60 g of creamy butter.

Bake 10 minutes at 90°C and speed 1.

We remove the cinnamon stick and lemon zest.

We place the rice pudding in containers, sprinkle with powdered cinnamon and leave to cool.

  1. I followed the recipe step by step....and the rice was a little hard...I repeated the last step a few more minutes...Could it be because of the type of rice?...I used round rice sos....

      Regarding your comment, we try to adjust the cooking time as much as possible so that the rice is not overcooked.
      But depending on the brand of rice used may vary a little and you need to put a little more time.

    2. Hello, I've also done it and I got the perfect rice, at its point, in my case I used round rice from mercadona, hacendado, if it helps you and semi-skimmed milk.
