Chicken with almonds recipe

Elaborate recipe for chicken with almonds, very easy to prepare step by step with our food processor. There are few more delicious ways to prepare chicken breast meat than in this way.

The result is a juicy meat full of flavour thanks to the combination and contrasts of the different ingredients. If desired, this dish can be served with boiled rice.

 2 pechugas de pollo (900g aproximadamente)
 100 g carrot
 150 g onion
 100 g of red pepper
 100 g of green pepper
 60 ml of extra virgin olive oil
 Pepper
 Salt
For the sauce:
 100 g de almendras tostadas y peladas
 100 ml soy sauce
 2 tbsp de tomate frito o kétchup
 Un chorrito de caramelo líquido
 2 tbsp cornstarch
 ½ vasito de agua

We mount the extraction accessory on our Küken robot.

Add 60ml of olive oil and 150g of peeled and coarsely chopped onion.

Cook for 5 minutes at 120°C and speed 1.

Add 100g of carrot, peeled and cut into thickly sliced quarters, 100g of green pepper and 100g of red pepper, in pieces of about 2 centimetres, and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Cook for 5 minutes at 120°C and speed 1.

Add the 2 chicken breasts, well washed and cut into pieces of about 2 centimetres, and season lightly with salt and pepper.

Bake for 15 minutes at 120°C and speed 1.

In a large bowl, prepare the sauce; add 100ml of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of fried tomato or ketchup, a dash of liquid caramel, 1/2 glass of water and 2 tablespoons of cornstarch. Stir everything well and add it to the food processor together with the 100g of almonds.

Cook for 5 minutes at 120°C and speed 1.
