Recipe for Chocolate Nougat with Walnuts

This chocolate nougat with walnuts belongs to a group of special recipes to prepare for celebrations and special days, especially Christmas. 

We have prepared it with walnuts but if you prefer, you can add the nut of your choice; hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts, macadamia nuts, pistachios, the options are many but the result is delicious in any case.

 250 g Chocolate fondant
 80 g Iberian lard
 250 g Milk chocolate
 250 g Peeled walnuts
Küken Accessories
 Solvent accessory
 Blade accessory
 Spatula
Elaboration

We mount the blade accessory on our Küken robot.

Add 250g of chopped fondant chocolate and 250g of chopped milk chocolate.

We grind for 30 seconds at speed 10.

We replace the blade accessory with the extraction accessory.

Add 80g of lard.

Mix for 6 minutes at 37ºC and speed 2.

Add 250g of walnuts, breaking them up a little with your fingers.

Mix for 15 seconds on speed 3.

Line a rectangular tablet-shaped mould with baking paper, pour the contents of the glass into the mould, spread it well over the entire surface and smooth it out with the help of a spatula.

Leave to cool, unmould and our nougat is ready to serve.
